Homes of Hope Girls’ Facility

Homes of Hope Girls’ Facility

Turning 18 is a special time in a teen’s life.  But for foster teens, turning 18 means that the system that has been instrumental in determining where you live, what you do, and who helps you, is gone, in some cases overnight.  Many of these teens will be immediately homeless, cast into a world of drugs, sex trafficking, and survival.  Homes of Hope is a program that offers a choice with a goal of self-sufficiency and positive life choices.

The Master Plan

The Master Plan is to build a home that will house up to 8 girls that have aged out of foster care.  There will be a wing for full time staff members, and a Life Skills curriculum has been developed to help these teens learn to function on their own.

Progress to Date

Many man hours have been put towards this home already:  land has been cleared and leveled, and concrete has been poured.  The project is ready for the next level:  framing.  It is the Hope that the Homes of Hope will be closed in soon, and progress can continue, but we need your help.

If you would like to be involved in this project, or would like to donate materials or time, please contact us today or schedule a visit to see the site.  There are many ways to be a part of the future for these teens that have aged out to help them be a productive member of society. And safe.
