A Crucial Part of Our Team
We’re so glad you’re interested in volunteering with us! Volunteers are the heart of our efforts. These adults have been thoroughly trained for the purpose of encouraging and uplifting each camper. All volunteers are interviewed, background checked and trained before working at camp.
Camp Volunteer Roles
Coaches
Camps would not be the same without our volunteer coaches. Adults are paired one-to-one or one-to-two with campers, supporting the teens throughout the camp experience. Coaching can be challenging and powerful. Because of the sensitive nature of our camper’s lives, all coaches must go through extensive training. This ensures a better experience for both the coaches and the campers.
Support Staff
From setting up activities to helping in the kitchen, these trained adults take care of the behind-the-scenes tasks needed to keep camp running seamlessly. And while support staff volunteers may not get as much direct time with campers, there are still plenty of opportunities to connect with the foster teens.
